The challenge:

The existing finish of the parquet flooring was so worn down that the floor had to be sanded completely and provided with an easy-to-maintain, resilient finish.

Substrate:

Renovated bamboo flooring. Floor surface had been worn down. Deeply penetrated pollution.

The solution:

In consultation with the client, the decision was made to apply a lacquer finish with a natural wood colour. Lacquer system 1 x STEP Parquet Primer Natural and 2 coats of STEP Parquet Lacquer 2K Matte. The floor was treated with the matte polish immediately after lacquering.
